Melrose triumphs, stays undefeated

At Melrose, the Lady Buffaloes improved to 2-0 for the season with a 25-10, 25-22, 25-23 victory over San Jon.
Melrose opened its season with a five-game win at Logan on Thursday.
"We're off to a great start," first-year Lady Buffs coach Dana Lewis, a 2003 Melrose grad. "I'm looking forward to working with these girls; most of them are young, but they're looking great so far."
Melrose took the best-of-three junior varsity preliminary from the Lady Coyotes 2-1.
