Comments 0 | Recommend 0

St. Edward’s got a goal each from four players Friday and spoiled the season opener for the Eastern New Mexico University men’s soccer team, beating the Greyhounds 4-0 at the ENMU pitch.

Patrick Miller and Dustin Cherry scored in the first half for the Hilltoppers (2-0), while Robert Georglefski and Jorge Vega added second-half tallies.

The Hounds were limited to two shots on goal by the St. Ed’s defense.

ENMU returns to action on Sunday, playing the second of five consecutive home matches in a 10 a.m. start against Colorado Christian.
