The wife of Dora farmer Kenneth Victor told the Portales-News Tribune that the recent hailstorm that covered the ground with golf ball-sized hailstones had destroyed 75 percent of her husband’s crop. The storm dropped more than an inch of moisture throughout Roosevelt County.
