Council recognizes Lopez at final meeting

PNT staff Councilman Jake J. Lopez and the Portales City Council celebrated his last day in office Tuesday. Lopez has served Portales for 14 years. He resigned his city seat effective Tuesday after winning a Roosevelt County Commission post seat last fall in the general election.
