Hospice sponsoring food drive

Freedom New Mexico Clovis’ VistaCare Hospice is sponsoring its seventh annual food drive in the month of August. Food collection bags will be distributed through the community with drop-off points at several locations, including Albertsons, S&S Grocery, The Clovis-Curry County Chamber of Commerce, the VistaCare office and other participating businesses. Public invited to discussion on terminal illness

Freedom New Mexico Patricia Trevino, community education representative for Vistacare Hospice, will be a featured speaker at Tuesday’s Friendship Rebekah Lodge meeting. The public is invited to the 2 p.m. Tuesday meeting at Odd Fellow Hall on 405 Main, where Trevino will discuss options for people with terminal illnesses. Information: Vicky Howard, 762-4843.
