PNT staff Portales Municipal Court is scheduled to close at 12:30 p.m. Thursday and resume regular business hours on Monday, according to Municipal Court Judge Frederick Arnold. Arnold said the court plans to give employment tests to potential job candidates. People scheduled during the time the court is closed will not be penalized. Information: 356-4923.

Portales Municipal Court will be closed 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday so the staff can attend a city meeting. Also, Judge Fred Arnold is scheduled to be out of the office Tuesday through Thursday. The court staff is to be in the office during regular business hours.
