According to the Portales News-Tribune, Portales school system has received its new computer and equipment to be used for payroll, attendance, grading and class scheduling. The system, which cost $40,145.50, includes an IBM computer, a printer and three mini-terminals, purchased from IBM in Lubbock, Texas.
