Teens arrested for unauthorized graffiti

Three Portales teenagers were arrested Friday and Saturday on multiple counts of unauthorized graffiti, according to Portales police. Portales Sgt. Pat Gallegos took a report of unauthorized graffiti Oct. 11. Officers found 29 locations with graffiti. The charges ranged from three-degree to fourth-degree felonies, police said.

Portales minor arrested for burglaries

A Portales minor was arrested Monday and charged with breaking into five homes in 801 military housing in Portales on Oct. 4, according to Portales police. He’s also charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit burglary, police said. He is being held at the juvenile detention center in Clovis.
