Cannon losing civilian jobs

The Associated Press Cannon Air Force Base is slated to lose 49 positions and Holloman Air Force Base will lose 57 jobs after the U.S. Air Force announced it would cut around 9,000 civilian positions nationwide. Lawmakers re-elected to caucus positions

Two local Republican legislators were re-elected to their caucus positions Saturday, according to information from the House Republican Caucus. Keith Gardner of District 66 was re-elected as Republican whip, and Anna Crook of District 64 was again chosen as caucus chairwoman.
